Marianne’s passion for fitness began 16 years ago after losing 75 lbs on her own. After working in Corporate America for 20 years, she finally decided to take a leap of faith and follow her heart to become a certified trainer and group fitness instructor. She understands the frustrations of weight loss and loves helping others reach their weight loss and fitness goals.
Marianne has trained in boxing the last 9 years and incorporates this in both her personal training and boot camps. “Boxing is a great full body cardio workout for weight loss and toning, as well as a fantastic way to relieve stress and build confidence.” Most of the women who have trained with her, have lost weight and gain momentum.
Marianne has always enjoyed group fitness herself and strives to create classes that are fun and always different so you forget that you are even working out. Her favorite phrase she likes to say is “Burpees are a girl’s best friend” and she loves to end a class with a
good old fashion plank. Strength is the core of fitness, “so strengthen the core!”
