Temple Teens Programs, Schedule and Services
THE PURPOSE OF TEMPLE TEENS
Temple Teens is a specifically designed program for teens 8th grade+.
With a world filled with social media, pictures, and ideas about health, fitness, and body image, it can be easy to lose yourself in the mix. Temple Teens is designed to help teens break out from these cultural norms and images to embrace their true identity in Christ. This program focuses on building our “Spirit Man”, through fitness, nutrition, and Biblical teaching to show teens that with Christ, you can be all He has created YOU to be. Each session is comprised of a Biblical teaching, nutritional lesson, and workout.
Teens are taught the fundamental basics of what a healthy, balanced diet looks like, how to create an effective workout program, and how to use physical strength training principles in your spiritual life. Teens will feel equipped and empowered to not only take on the challenges of their day to day lives, but also the purposes and plans God has laid out for them!
WHAT WE OFFER
Biblical teaching that demonstrates how to embrace and actively live in the image of Christ.
Teaching the basics of healthy eating habits, including:
- How to make protein smoothies
- Pack lunches
- Make after-school snacks
- Managing eating out
- And more!
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
Designed to equip young ladies with the knowledge and practice of a safe and effective exercise program. Teens will feel confident when working out independently, whether at home or at the gym with lifelong health benefits. Our fitness program includes:
- Mobility – Keeping the joints lubricated and maintain good range of motion to prevent injury.
- Muscular Strength – Gain strength, increase bone density and muscle mass.
- Metabolic – Increase cardiovascular health.
